DISPATCH AND DELIVERY TIMES
All orders are sent out within 1 to 4 business days (this excludes weekends and holidays) after placing your order. You will receive another email with the tracking information when your order is on its way.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Timeframes
All orders are sent via NZ Post.
$10 Flat Rate New Zealand Wide | 1-3 business days
$15 Flat Rate New Zealand Wide Rural | 2-5 business days
Free Shipping on orders $110 and over
Please ensure if you live rural, you select that option at checkout, rural packages can actually cost upwards of $20 for me to send (especially to the South Island) so I ask that you select the correct option.
International Shipping Rates and Timeframes
All orders are sent using NZ Post Tracked Economy Services.
Shipping prices for international orders are calculated by weight, so you may find the price fluctuates when purchasing just one candle versus two, for example. Please remember that New Zealand is a very small country, and the prices to send goods overseas reflect that.
If you are getting the error at checkout "Cannot ship to this address", your cart is likely over the weight limit currently set to send to your country. Please send me an email at whisperinwax@gmail.com or a DM on Instagram and I can organise a shipping quote for you instead.
Delivery time frames are based on the current updated ones set by NZ Post and are as follows:
Australia | 3-6 business days
US | 6-18 business days
Canada | 6-18 business days
UK | 6-18 business days
Singapore | 6-18 business days
The countries above are the only ones I currently offer international shipping to but if you would like your country added, reach out here and I will see about adding it!
Regarding EU countries and Northern Ireland, the introduced GPSR regulations unfortunately prevent me from sending to these places at the moment, the UK remains unaffected.
Customs Fees and Import Taxes
For international orders, you may be subject to import duties, tariffs and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your country. Whisper In Wax is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Returns and Exchanges | Please know that I do not accept returns or exchanges on my products, I'm confident in the quality of my craft and all sales are final.
Damaged and Lost/Stolen Parcels | I take a lot of care in making sure your order is packed well and won't sustain any damage during delivery however if your item arrives damaged, or has been lost in transit (over 10 working days past the maximum delivery timeframe), I will need to lodge a claim with our shipping partner, NZ Post, to investigate. Please be sure to email me at whisperinwax@gmail.com so I can get the ball rolling.
Due to the nature of all things waxy - please be aware that there is a risk of your products melting slightly during transit, especially during those warmer summer months - this won't affect the life of your products, just be sure to let the wax cool and reharden before use.
